visual foxpro linux wine samba

I am fairly new to Linux... I am trying to run visual foxpro useing Linux Mint 7, and Wine. Have had success in running all local dbf files, but when trying to append or pack a windows xp network share mapped in Wine I don't seem to have the right permissions.I Can Edit files on the network and change data within entries but cannot append or Pack. Is there a Graphical Interface to access Samba Setup to cange Permissions..
Please Advise

To manage samba graphically, you can use SWAT. Following link may help configuring swat
http://www.samba.org/samba/docs/man/...tion/SWAT.html

Thanks
