Virtualbox problem!

I have installed virutalbox on my computer and when I start the virtual machine and start to setup the virtual machine, about halfway through setup it just closes out with out any messages.
If anybody has any information or perhaps a solution to this problem let me know.

hi

have a read of /var/log/vbox-install.log....but your name may differ as I use the non-ose edition.

also pls mention which edition you are trying to use

and are you on a 64 bit system or a 32 bit system.

AFAIK...its still safer and more software and less hassles running a 32 bit system even on a 64 bit processor

What do you mean by I start the virtual machine and start to setup the virtual machine? You are installing an OS? And what do you mean by it just closes out with out any messages? The virtual machine window closes?
