Virtual machine error

Dear All,

I am trying to install Virtual machine on my linux machine. Getting the following error

"Error msg: Failed to create the virtual box com object. VERR_OPEN_FAILED. Invalid document structure."

Linux version : Suse Linux Desktop 10
Virtual Machine : Virtual box version 1.5.4

can someone please help me ?

It would sound like the domain config file you have is somehow corrupt or otherwise invalid.

May I ask why you want to use such an outdated version of Virtualbox? The current version is 4.0.0.
