Virtual Desktops in GNOME (Fedora)

Like KDE has multiple desktops, is it possible to have those in GNOME in Fedora (8)?

workspace switcher

not sure if you're being serious (a 417 poster and a 2119 poster trying to determine how to add to a panel?) but i'll play along so i can get to 30 posts and not be a newbie anymore...)

brisbin33, Thanks for the reply. I am able to add workspace switcher. But can't figure out a way to change desktop background in each. I am sure GNOME can, but don't know how.

i downloaded a program called wallpapoz via add/remove. i haven't set it up yet but i believe it lets you put different backgrounds on each workspace.
