videolan vlc


i'm trying to install the videolan vlc player ?? but it dos not work i cant get it to download ?

i did what the site informed me to do. . . . . .

Add the following lines to your /etc/apt/sources.list:

deb http://download.videolan.org/pub/videolan/debian woody main
deb-src http://download.videolan.org/pub/videolan/debian woody main

For a normal install, do:

# apt-get update
# apt-get install gnome-vlc libdvdcss2


but it did not work

i'm trying tis on a Xandros and mepis both did not work ??

what should i do ?
