FIXED video problems in console

Hello,
in kernel that i get with slackware 9.1 monitor resolution is 1024x768, but after compiling kernel 2.6.7 my resolution is 640x480 although i've configured it to be 1024x768. My video card is Voodoo3 and i've configured to be so, but something's wrong :(
Any suggestions what should i do?

I assume that you have configured the kernel to support the maximum resolution supported by your monitor. If you are not seeing that resolution, then you need to configure the monitor itself. I also assume that Slackware offers some kind of system configuration tool which you may use to select the monitor resolution your require, or you may be able to use tools built into the monitor the change the resolution.

Thank you bigrigdriver, but i've found the problem ;) I had to disable my voodoo3 support, but leave VESA support ;) everything is fine with video now :)
