video problems

I am running Redhat 7.0, onboard video card on K7SEM board (http://www.ecsusa.com/products/k7sem.htm), and an NEC MultiSync XV15 monitor(http://www.griffintechnology.com/monitors/NEC42.html). I have tried XF86CONFIG twice without any luck and had to reload linux both times. Now I can not even log in with startx. Could someone please tell me exactly what I need to enter for each step of XF86CONFIG? Thanks in advance!

Have you tried Xconfigurator to see if Redhat can configure it that way? Also you can use Superprobe to probe for the video/monitor etc...

I could not get the Xconfigurator to work. After finding out that SuperProbe is in usr/bin/X11 and not spelled Superprobe it was able to get all the info I needed about my card and monitor. I decided to re-install redhat 7 again and this time I was able to make the correct choices about my video and everything works great now. Now I just need to figure out how to change my display size to 800x600. Thanks tricky.
