video chatting + yahoo + linux !@#$%?
 
how can i do video chatting using yahoo in linux....or with any other messaging client?

Have fun using Yahoo messenger in linux period. You have to use their client, available @ http://messenger.yahoo.com/messenger/download/unix.html
As to wether it allows video chat you'll have to take a look, possibly email them.
By the way, as of now, they only offer a Redhat, Debian Woody, and *BSD packages for the messenger. I got the Redhat version to work with Mandrake.

Not sure about the video part, but Kopete will allow you to use Yahoo/MSN/ICQ/IRC ETC...

As will one of the more recent versions of Gaim.

I believe AYTTM will as well, but seeing as My Internet has never worked on my Linux Box I wouldn't Know!

Unfortunately not. Yahoo has changed their protocols almost 5 times in the past week in an effort to keep third party IM clients (Trillian, GAIM, Kopete, etc) from connecting to their service. Hence the enormous pressure to create a UNIX compatible client.
