video and audio codecs on ubuntu 7.04


when i try to install mplayer, this is what i get:

i don't understand what is in the "config.log" file. Please help me. My computer is not connected to the internet. what i do is that i download files from the internet onto my pendrive and then transfer them to my pc.

2..i tried installing smplayer on my ubuntu "fiesty fawn" but it seems there are so many dependencies to satisfy.how can i satisfy all these dependencies without connecting my pc to the internet

3..how can i install audio and video codecs on totem movie player and satisfy all dependencies without connecting my pc to the internet

You'll need to find the codecs from somewhere.
Then copy them to /usr/lib/codecs/ (That's the location for (k)ubuntu 6.06.1, should be the same for 7.04.)
