Hi, My problem is I can browse from my Linux/Xebian box to my XP PC, but when I try and run a video clip it says I don't have permission, I can copy the file and run it but this is not what I want. I would like to run the file live accross the network.
I have checked all the security settings on XP But know very little (nothing) about Linux and suspect it's the problem.
Just to let you know, I am limited to what I can achieve due to Xebian being installed on an Xbox.
Re the reply above (Tap-Out), the video file is on my XP box and I would like to run this live on my Linux machine.
I have not had a chance to try and mount the directory. Could someone maybe explain how I would do this - remember I have to ssh into my Linux box from the xp machine.
Thanks, Hope I am not being to much of a pain in the ***
