very new to linux

i have an hp 5375 laptop i just installed fedora core 4 (very impressed, loaded all drivers properly better than windows) but with my wireless the intersil prism 2.5 wireless card the driver installed just fine but it does not support WPA or WPA2, i have located the proper driver for the support of WPA on linux but i don't have a clue how to install the driver, What folder does it go in pr what do i have to do to make it work? very new to linux but happy as heck with it thus far. also if anyone could recommend good resources for learning everything from the beginning about linux! I'm so used to windows I'm lost, thank you

Greetings,

I recommend the excellent guide available here:
http://linux-newbie.sunsite.dk
I find it to be a very helpful reference. A downloadable PDF version is there as well, at the bottom of the page.
