i have an hp 5375 laptop i just installed fedora core 4 (very impressed, loaded all drivers properly better than windows) but with my wireless the intersil prism 2.5 wireless card the driver installed just fine but it does not support WPA or WPA2, i have located the proper driver for the support of WPA on linux but i don't have a clue how to install the driver, What folder does it go in pr what do i have to do to make it work? very new to linux but happy as heck with it thus far. also if anyone could recommend good resources for learning everything from the beginning about linux! I'm so used to windows I'm lost, thank you
That is the website for the to files i beleive the two Hostap and Wpa supplicant are the files i need. both .tar files have a slew of different files with the same name and diff extensions. i also cant tell i believe i need both the WPA supplicant and hostap but also am not sure. thank you again, i hope thats enough info
