Verto MX 420 problems

Here is what I've done...

Installed the Linux driver from nvidia.com WITHOUT the X server so it worked and gave me no errors.

The HOWTO said for SuSE 8.2 to type in "sax2 -m 0=nvidia" or something like that and I did. The screen flickers and it says something to the effect of "card lost during probe" and nothing changes.

I go to the YaST Hardware Module and open the Moniter/Display device; the only thing I see is two options: "Text mode only" which doesn't work when I hit accept, and "Graphic mode w/3D acceleration [disabled]" and an option to hig "change". Neither works; they just sit there and do nothing.

----I have an integrated Intel xtreme graphics card (aka crap) but I have it disabled in BIOS. It doesn't seem to be trying that card but I don't know for sure. My Moniter is plugged into the Verto card's slot so it is half-way working I guess. The screen flickers/refreshes a lot when anything "graphical" is done. I drag a window around and it "jumps" from A to B instead of "flowing" from A to B.

Please help!
