Verify Serial Port is Working
 
Hi,

How can I verify that a serial port is working properly in RHEL AS 3.0? Is there a command or a system tool that will show the details of the serial port and if it is configured correctly?

from root terminal:

dmesg | grep tty

cat /proc/tty/driver/serial

Thanks for the info. Where would I go to change the settings on the serial port?
