Talking Vcd


hi
when i try to copy vcd track(.dat file) to my computer(hard disk) display error on my screen and i cant copy......
help me

i hear from someone i cant copy ".dat file" from cdrom to harddisk!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
this is true?????
