/var/www domain name help

[Log in to get rid of this advertisement]
Hi all, stupid question, but I'm hosting a wiki on my ubuntu server and I got a domain name for it which I've port forwarded 80 to the ubuntu server which has the wiki site in /var/www. But when I access the site externally using the domain name all the categories on the left link to my private IP address. I can get to the main page, but the other links are http://192.168.x.x/index whatever.

How can I change that to the domain name instead.

Thanks in advance.

Nothing is specified in that file... I think I have to do something with virtual hosts, but not 100% sure...

ok, I'll bite. What version of apache are you using? Where are the config files? Did you try reading them?

Running ubuntu, apache2. /etc/apache2/httpd.conf

Nothing inside them, there's an /etc/apache2/apache2.conf file with a bunch of stuff in it.

Well, my suggestion still stands, I just guessed the name of the config file incorrectly.
