Various Linux newbie quesions.

Hello again, im getting more comfortable with Linux each day, and i have a few questions:
#1: In windows i can copy and paste using Ctrl C and Ctrl V, but this doesn't seem to work
between programs in linux, am i wrong?
#2: Ive downloadd grkellm and it's nice, but i miss the proccesexplorer and tcpview from
sysinternals.com, is there something similar in Linux?
#3: And last but not least, ive seen people with icons on there fluxbox desktop, but i havent
found any documentation on how to do this :/ .

Ctrl+C and Ctrl+V will work with most X programs, others will use another technique. Simply highlight the text you want to copy and then middle click where you want to paste it. These two clipboards are seprate so you can Ctrl+C and Highlight something else, and both of them will still be available, through either Ctrl+V or middle clicking.
