hi,
I need NCTUns for my thesis. But all links suggest that it is not available any more and NCTUns becomes a commercial product
Anybody help me plzzz
thkx
If you want NCTUns, then you need to pay for it, plain and simple. A free alternative would be NS2, not sure if you want to go that route. I recommend you do, however, because it is free.
hi;
thkx, I already know about ns2. the problem is that ns2 don't support radio obstacle. That's why I'm asking about NCTUns.Besides, I did try with VanetMobiSim, but the same problem is still here. I heard about obstacle mobility model, do you know any simulator that support radio obstacle
Any suggestions is welcome
best regards

All technical discussion is supposed to take place in the Forums,
so other LQ members can benefit from the answers.
And for the continuous growth of LQ as a knowledge base.
Please use your thread : http://www.linuxquestions.org/questi...nctuns-909202/
About your errors : Your "environment variable settings" may be temporary :
Will reset to default Fedora settings, when you exit the terminal.
Permanent settings, suggest : 1) cd /usr/local/sbin/
2) su ; ln -s ../nctuns/bin/* .
......... where the period ( . ) at the command end means the current directory.
hi,
i did install nctuns6.0
dispatcher and coordinator commands seems work well
but the nctunsclient command return an error message:
"/usr/local/nctuns/bin/nctunsclient.bin: error while loading shared libraries:bqt-mt.so.3:cannot open shared object file:No such file or directory"
P.S a tried to modify the bashrc file like
$ vi .bashrc
export NCTUNSHOME=/usr/local/nctuns
export NCTUNS_BIN=/usr/local/nctuns/bin
export NCTUNS_TOOLS=/usr/local/nctuns/tools
export LD_LIBRARY_PATH=/usr/local/nctuns/lib
but I still have the same problem
Any help will be welcome
thkx
best regards
