uucp for Fedora12


Is uucp available in fedora12? If so how to install it on my system?

Hi,

no, nothing is available in Fedora 12, since it has been EOL since December 2010 [1]. Please install a current/supported operating system.

Hi:

The current version of Fedora is 20. Download it here:
http://fedoraproject.org/en/get-fedora

You can download it (make sure you have the right .iso image) for your computers architecture and do one of two things. Burn the image to CD/DVD or usb memory stick.

If you find that you have trouble getting your computer to read the DVD or usb it's most likely becuase your machine is not set in the BIOS to boot to CDROM first or usb (boot order)

Once you have that set installing Fedora should be a breeze.
The Anaconda Installer is easy to work with.
