Utube ripper issue

I am new new to linux. I have downloaded fedora 10. I also downloaded utube ripper. The application loads up fine. When I cut and past a you tube url and hit download (convert) the file tells me it is located in a utube directory. Firstly I cannot locate this file and secondly it takes only 1 sec to download a 30 mg file which is not possible. I have also downloaded numerous gambas packages through the add/program app. I don't know which gambas package supports utube ripper. I also cannot locate any detailed instructions for solving any issues associated with downloading or using. Can someone help me with this program?

Never heard of utube ripper either, but the Firefox Video Download Helper is the best way to grab any video from any web site:

Ok this app looks good however, when I ripped a video or ausio file- it tells me I need additional plugins. When I initiated a search it did not locate them. Also, I get a pop up asking me to download Sorenson Decoder codec for the video. Again I did a search but nothing surfaced. Anyone know what codecs I need for download helper? where can I get the Sorenson decoder codec?

Where are you downloading the videos from? Can you provide us the link (only if it's a legal site, please)? Also, do you have the flash plugin and can you see the movies online without problems? Are you getting the errors when trying to play the downloaded movie - and if so then what player are you trying to use?
