uTorrent

I'm using uTorrent but I can't seem to get it to work by using Wine. I have downloaded the programs and read some 'How to's'. Any suggestions? I am using Ubuntu.
Thanks

NEVER run Windows programs in Wine before looking for Linux native, open-source programs that do what you want.

There is Transmission, Deluge, KTorrent, and many more.

As far as i know programs that run as service are not supported by wine. Are you sure "utorrent" does not run as service?

Don't help him run it in Wine. There are many native Linux options that are just as easy or even easier to use than uTorrent under Windows.

UTorrent

Thanks to all.
I've flushed wine to sea and thrown utorrent overboard. Quite happily using Ktorrent.
The good thing thing about being naive is that you're always learning.
