USR Courier problem with Fedora core 2
 

Hi everybody,

I am totally new to Linux and have just installed Fedora Core 2 on my PC.

The install went okay (apart from neutralising my XP partition, but managed to fix that), until the machine was rebooted. I then got an message from Kudzu informing me that the USR Courier V everything had been removed and asked if I wanted to remove or keep the configuration, I selected the keep option but can't seen to get the internet connection wizard to recognise that the modem is there. When the internet connection wizard probes for hardware it does not detect the modem. The modem is an external modem connected to com1.

As I said earlier I do not know a thing about linux, but have decided to jump in at the deep end to see what I can learn.

Any help greatly appreciated.
