/usr almost full, /home empty.. how 2 xsfer?

Hello,

Way back when I was researching on installing, I followed some advice and split up my drive as follows:

2 gigs win98SE
2 gigs /
8gigs /usr
8gigs /home

I was told that with this setup, I will have a lot of room to play with, and install everything I would need.

Well, I have pretty much filled up my /usr partition, but my /home partition still has plenty of space.

How can I transfer some of the space from /home to /usr without reinstalling?

I am running Mandrake 9

Thanks!

Head over to www.freshmeat.net and check out a program called parted. It will allow you to resize both partitions, removing space from your /home partition and then increase the size with the empty space over on the /usr partition.

Cool

I suppose parted is included in your distro. Just install the rpm and run it.
