Post Using Wine

Hello

I'm relatively new to Linux. I am using Debian 6.01 and I'm trying to use some Windows programs with Wine. In general there is no problem but recently tried to install a program that is used with an Electroencefalography. Is propietary program, called Cadwell EasyII. It needs .Net FrameWork and when I try to install receive an error. Any Idea about what to do? I'll appreciate some help.

Hi and welcome to LinuxQuestions!

What is the error you received? Usually Microsoft.NET framework is installed by means of winetricks, e.g.
Code:
sh winetricks corefonts dotnet20
to install version 2.0.
Microsoft.NET support is rated GOLD till release 2.0. Some difficulty may arise for newer versions. Someone reported some problems in installing the 64-bit version of release 2.0, too (whereas 32-bit version works fine). Hope this helps.

It may not fit your needs but there are open source programs in that area: http://sourceforge.net/directory/?q=EEG
