using ubuntu 14.04. It fails to boot every time.
 

On Ubuntu 14.04 it never boots right away. Only after several
F-key tries will it finally boot, then it works fine, till next turn-on.
Can I reload or replace Ubuntu 14.04 in this case?

Well since you haven't told us what it does do (you've only told us what it doesn't do), we can't exactly answer your question. Is there a hardware problem? An error message? A blank screen? What do you mean by "after several F-key tries"?

Of course you can reload or replace Ubuntu, but unless you give us some hints that we can use to identify the problem, we have no way of knowing if re-loading the OS would fix it.
