using lcd tv with slackware

I just loaded slackware 11 onto an old pentium iii computer.
I have no issues using it in command mode. When I type in startx to run kde i get an error that say improperly configured.
Can anyone tell me how to fix this error?

Slackware 11 is not supported anymore, I would just go for Slackware 14 and use XFCE or Fluxbox instead of KDE, that should work.

Tobi is right. Slackware 11 is quite old. If you want to use something more modern, I would suggest AntiX or Salix.

But if you really want someone to try and help with your Slackware 11 problem, posting the error you get when running startx would be very helpful.

Hi, why slackware 11 and not 14?
Anyway run KDE on pentium III is hard.
You should try fluxbox.

use puppy linux for pentium III I have once used it it can play videos, mp3 directly with good performance and is easy to install.

I'm running Slackware 14 on a Pentium III using XFCE. I don't really use that computer for anything, but it seems to run the DE without any difficulty.
