Using latest distro of Ubuntu Server, How can I verify if LAMP is installed?

I believe I have successfully installed LAMP. How can I verify this?

When I browse to http://localhost or http://127.0.0.1 I do get the IT WORKS! page to come up. I suppose that means Apache is installed correctly, but how do I verify MySQL is there? How do I verify PHP was installed correctly?

thanks!

Hi,

Look at the 'LAMP' some reference.

This link and others are available from 'Slackware-Links' . More than just SlackwareŽ links!

thisple ,

here is a simple php test script. As per the mysql try using a simple connect command such as
Quote:
mysql> CONNECT database 127.0.0.1

netstat -tap | grep mysql
