using kword I want to export document to be compatible with Windows

How may I export a document in Kword to be supported by Microsoft word or wordpad made by Microsoft. It exports fine except for the pictures. There are no pictures when I open the exported documents. How may I include pictures when exporting?

Thanks in advance!

Yes! The pictures are not there, and the document doesn't look right.

Others might have this problem, I solved my problem by using PDF format.

I have had a similar problem with rich text format exporting in openoffice. It seems like the pictures are stored separately from the text document in the same directory it was saved it. Not sure if Kword does the same thing. I just re-inserted the pictures afterward. I've found that openoffice is much better than kword if you are working with word files. It also has the easy PDF export functionality. The only time I use kword is for importing a pdf document because openoffice doesn't have that feature.
