Using evolution for the first time

Hi All,

I want to be able to use Evolution and Linux instead of Outlook and Windows.
But I don't understand how I am suppose to answer the question Evolution ask me
when it starts.

It ask ...

Please enter information about your incoming mail server below. If you don't know ask your sys admin or ISP.

... well my sys admin didn't know and I don't have an ISP.

The choice I have are this ....

POP
IMAP
Standard Unix mbox spool or directory
Maildir-format mail directories
MH-format mail directories
local delivery
None

... I guess I could just guess but when I do that things usually dont work.

Thanks

If you don't have an ISP who do you connect to receive your e-mail? Usually if your e-mail is user@domain.com then your isp is domain.com and you should consult their help settings. Alternatively, open up your Outlook configuration and use whatever is set up in there.
