When I done that it just logs out !!! How can I access my root again so when I log on it shows desktop screen with KDE etc. Thanks

It would be better if you logged in with your regular user account, rather than log into kde as root. If you need to run a gui program as root, you can use 'kdesu <program>' to do so. Many tools that need root access will prompt you for the root password, so often the kdesu command is not necessary.
