I restart server and entered in runlevel 3. my keyboard is working there and i can logged in as a root. i entered startx command here and entered in GUI mode my key board is not working there. while mouse is functioned properly. what is the reason, if it is locked by xlock, how to unlock X

This may be it??

SHADOW PASSWORDS

If the machine is using a shadow password system, then xlock may not be
set up to get the real password and so must be given one of its own.
This can be either on the command line, via the €€cpasswd option, or in
the file $HOME/.xlockrc, with the first taking precedence. In both
cases an encrypted password is expected (see makekey(8)). If neither
is given, then xlock will prompt for a password and will use that, also
storing an encrypted version of it in $HOME/.xlockrc for future use.

i m unable to login in runlevel 5 becoz i can not type username and passwd there. i can only login in runlevel 3. and here my keyboard is fully functional. Plz tell me how to kill this problem. if i issue startx command and in X environment i m unable to write through keyboard. Plz guide me step by step i shall be very thankful to you.and how to reconfigure shadow file
Note: through package manager i removed/uninstalled xlockmore but problem is still as it is.

Try using a regular non-usb keyboard., maybe after login usb will be loaded and you can use on next boot.

Can you get into bios?
Check settings

Try using a linux live-cd maybe it'll provide usb support. If it does select boot os.

Thanx all Seniors for your co-opration.
Screen lock problem is solved. i take the following steps:-
1. Reboot system in runlevel 3.
2. uninstall xlockmore.
3. modify /etc/X11/xorg.conf
changes are:- Section "Input Devices"
Identifier "Keyboard0"
Driver "Kbd"
Option "Protocol" "Standard"
Option "XkbModel" "pc105"
Option "XkbLayout" "us"
Option "XKbrules" "XFree86"
EndSection
And restart the system. my system is Ok.
Thanks again
