useradd on linux
Hello All!!
i have a problem That my boss wants it done any how.My Distro Is RedHat 9 i am using Sendmail and using squirrelmail for web interface every thing is fine But.. when i give the command: useradd -s /sbin/nologin prashant it is ok i can access the e-mail but.. when i give useradd -s /sbin/nologin p.manandhar it gives me an error saying invalid COZ i am using "." .so can any fellow help me in this matter. i used the /etc aliases it worked but when i have to check the e-mail in web i have to give the real username in my case that's "prashant". i want p.manandhar be used as a real username coz my boss want's it done in this way.
