Umm... can you be more specific in your requirements? What are you attempting to do? Where are you stumbling? Do you see any errors on your screen? Which distribution? Any more information that you can give us to help you.

And are you using standard tools for user management or something like LDAP?

No one can help you out, unless you will voice out your problems/questions with your OS, its version and other necessary details.

Best way to handle a problem is search it on google, then search on this forum, try the solutions displayed over there and then post here.
