I guess that I can edit certain files in order to play with groups for user accounts.

Where is the file located?
Which file I have to edit inorder to add or remove groups for users?
How to open it?
How to save it?
I want to do it in Terminal.

- depend which distro u are using diffrent distro diffrent path

- same answer but mostly /etc/group

- diffrent os use diffrent editor but most have vi

I want to do it in Terminal.
- yeah all distro got terminal

understanding the o/s behavior you use is the most important

just info
- solaris use useradd
- linux adduser
- AIX smit user

etc etc
