user@wrongname

At the terminal prompt, I get this:
[user@wronghostname user]$
It wouldn't bug me if it was just some random name, but it's taken on the name of another box in its network. This could (and probably will) cause problems when someone tries to access the windows box whose name has been pilfered by the linux machine. Can you help me give this box its own name so it doesn't have to steal it from another machine?

I actually tried that and it stayed the same after saying that it had changed it.
Once I opened a new Konsole window it was fine though.
Can I delete this thread, now that I feel stupid?
