usefull prgrames for Suse 9.1


I am looking for some usefull programes for my system prefearably RPM format I do a lot of copying (say no more ) and also use ms Publisher often for little projects and find OpenOffice aint quite up to it. Also dose anyone have a usefull link for a pdf on learning Suse linux?

Any links for all the above would be welcomed.

usefulness varies from user to user...the best way is to do a google or open YAST and select add/remove programs...select all the boxes in the search field (name,description,etc) or look in the package groups to install whatever application is useful to you...

when i was a noob the best resource was LQ.org! (followed by google
