Use sendmail in Cacti to sending email

Hi all,

I install cacti on CentOS 5.7, and everything seem to fine.
Now, i want to use sendmail to sending email instead of PhP Mail or SMTP.
How to configure sendmail to do that?
what i need to do? what account will be used to sending email when threshold is breach?
How to change email account local on Cacti when sending email?
Any help is appreciated,

Never heard of Cacti with sendmail or postfix

How do you configure the Php mail or SMTP with Cacti

Hi,

With Cacti, i has 3 function to sending email:

With each function i met each issue.

Case1: Using PhP mail() Function.
- only sending to gmail, yahoo mail account, without user@abc.com(my email account Exchange)
- I checking the mail log on server:

q3N8jEPs024087: to=<user@abc.com>, ctladdr=<cactiuser@localmachine.domain> (502/502), delay=00:00:11, xdelay=00:00:02, mailer=esmtp, pri=214885, relay=mail.domain. [IP address's Email server], dsn=2.0.0, stat=Sent (Message accepted for delivery)

--> never received.

Case2:SMTP function
- Setting: http://nl8.upanh.com/b2.s29.d1/a0364...77518.smtp.jpg
- Testing: http://nl9.upanh.com/b3.s26.d1/e7bbc...9.smtptest.jpg --> Seem to fine and received email from press "Send a Test Email" on right top.
- But when breach threshold is never received any email

Case3:Sendmail Function
- Do not know how to configure to sending mail when threshold.

I still received email via account gmail.
But email will be stored on Spam folder,
