Use 32 bit and x86_64 Linux on same system?

I'm currently running SUSE 9.1 for AMD64, but I've been frustrated by the lack of AMD64 support for certain applications. My basic question is: is it possible to setup a tri-boot system with Windows XP, i586 Linux, and x86_64 linux? If so, is there a particular distro that would make this relatively simple? I'm not that committed to SUSE. Also, I have my home directory on a separate partition, would both linux systems be able to use it? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you very much.

SuSE 9.1 Pro contains both the i32 and the i64 kernels...

Yes it is possible to create a multiple boot that can be 32-bit, 64-bit and Windoze... In Linux you are not limited to one kernel... The /home partition is defined by the partition tables, so yes, it's data is freely useable across platform (provided its not NTFS, he he he).

It might be a pain to set up though...
