I have a logitec webcam in my USB port. How can I get that bad boy to run?

Check dmesg to see if it shows up.

Then search for software, I've tried webcam, camsource,
motion (but work with my tv card).

Nothing seems to work. I know my usbweb camera does
work since I pulled a hack off the web that directly
talked to the USB port and bypassed v4l.

Maybe your distro is better.
