Angry USB problems still

When I click on usb devices It shows that my printer is there. Why wont it print. Ive done the print configure and I have tried all of the drivers for my printer that were included. Also how do I configure a second usb port for my camera. I hate to have to keep going back to ms windows. Please remember I am new to linux so keep it basic if poosible. I am using red hat 7.2, Thanks.
