usb problems


i want to load linux slax onto a 256 danelec flash key,
but but the download will not regonise the usb key.
help needed please.

What proof do you have that Slax doesn't recognise your USB device?

Does "fdisk-l" fail to show it?

Are you sure the USB is good and show up in a Live CD other than Slax?

Since you are asking the question so it is fair that you do the above leg work first.
