usb modem
 
i have not used linux until today and i am having trouble installing my modem on it. i have seen other thread that has helped me up until this point on http://www.linuxquestions.org/questi...x-lite-694883/. but now i have the inital setup page up and the bar has not moved for about 10 mins. can anyone help me in my hour of need lol

We can possibly help, if you provide some useful information. You don't say what version or distro of Linux you're using, what modem, connected to what hardware, or what method of connecting it (USB? Internal? Serial?).

Does the link you provided match your setup?
