USB key access
I have a 4 Mb USB key and I am trying to share some files between a PC running Windows XP and another one using Linux Slackware. I would like to know how to mount and access the USB key with the Linux PC? What device is should correspond to my USB ports?
Thank you, Yves Plasse. |
When you plug it in, it might automount, might not. If it does not, read my posts in the following thread:

You don't say what Distro you're using. In Ubuntu it may just appear on the desktop as "4gb Disk" or you would go to "places" from the start menu and it'll appear there. Click on it to mount and again, it'll appear on the desktop. Click on the desktop icon to open.
Linux doesn't use C: D: E: identifiers. You don't need to know which USB port it's plugged into either :) Play Bonny! :hattip: |
