USB Flash Drive

I know that there are many posts on this, but I want to be able to mount my USB flash drive as root and as myself:

I modified the fstab file as:
/dev/sda1 /mnt/usbstck vfat noauto,user,rw 0 0

by typing mount usbstick I get the following error
mount: can't find usbstick in /etc/fstab or /etc/mtab

Also in the Disk Managment Utility it DOES NOT show my usbstick! It only shows the floppy and CD-ROM

Any ideas!

Thanks

/dev/sda1 /mnt/usbstck vfat noauto,user,rw 0 0

in fstab changed to
/dev/sda1 /mnt/usbstick vfat noauto,user,rw 0 0

since in I have a directory in called /mnt/usbstick
