HI everyone. I have been having the hardest time getting high speed out of my evdo modem. I am running Open Suse 10.3 and using Franklin wireless cdu-550 usb card. After tweaking every modem setting I could find a number for I discovered that it is configured for a slow speed at the usb level. In fact the card registers ver. 2.0 but the default controller is ohci (1.01). No USB settings are user controlled. Please help!!
Thanks for the help. Here is my info.
modem : CMOTECH CDMA Technologies vendor=16d8 product=5553
pci_hotplug :shpchp
usbcore : cdc_acm, usbserial,usb_-storage,ehci_hcd, ohci_hcd
kernel version is 2.6.22.13-0.3-rt thanks again
