Usb Communication


hi,
i am trying to make a code that simply identifies the usb device conncted to my linux pc,reads the data from it and sends data back..
i have no clue how to write code that directly acceses the ports.
neither do i know what are the commands (or api's for this)

please guide what to do ...if u have any small sample code..that will help surely

We will HELP you, but not going to write it for you. What have you done so far? What language are you writing this in? What kind of USB 'device' are you trying to read? What kinds of data?

You have a very vague question...provide more information, along with what you've already tried, and details about what you're TRYING to do, along with the error(s) you're getting, and we can help.
