USB Audio Problem
 

Hello all,

My problem is sound for the internet. The sound is coming from my USB port, not my sound card. I broke the sound card 6 months ago. My windows XP is working fine(audio and video). I d/l'ed adobe flash 10 and java. No sucess. The video is good, but the audio is off. (youtube.com, hulu.com, etc.) I d/l'ed administration>synaptic package manager and I marked all upgrades, still no sound. I'm stumped.

What's the USB sound card?

do 'sudo lsusb' and give us the output, thanks.

Have you loaded the snd-usb-audio module? I think that's what it uses.
