usb aircard modem
 
Have installed a Sierra wireless aircard 881U. It will connect to the AT&T network but I cannot access the web with it - click on firefox and it stays in offline mode. When I click the network icon it is not listed. Usinh Ubuntu8.04. Any ideas?

You don't give alot of information...how do you know it connects?? What are you using to connect and verify the connection? Are you able to hit anything on the internet with it?

That's a pretty common device.. did you search the forums here for it ? Theres been a lot of threads on making those work..
