URGENT PLEASE! GRUB errors

OK, I'm brand new to this forum, but right now I REALLY need help and I really hope you guys can help me!

I booted from a live ubuntu cd on one of my computers, then preceeded to install the entire system, but I did so to an apple iPod. Now, I get GRUB errors 21, 22, and sometimes nothing comes up at all. I'm really stuck, please help me ASAP

I really jsut want to uninstall Ubuntu and boot into windows again. I just wanted to get the system on my other pc, but not on this one!

If it was that urgent you would have given us enough info to help. Which windoze ?. Do you have an install disk for it ?.
The fix will be simply replacing the MBR (boot) record. Hopefully.

(BTW, including URGENT (shouted) in the subject is a great way to get ignored)

1. I think you're saying that you tried to install Ubuntu on your Windows PC, the install failed, and now the PC won't even boot to Windows. Correct?

2. Assuming you're running Windows XP, and assuming you have your Windows install CD, then all you need to do is go into "recovery console" and run "fixMBR":

3. There are lots of other alternatives (depending on lots of variables), but hopefully that will get you pointed in the right direction...

Super GRUB

Thanks for the fast response guys!

Fortunately, I did a little more research and solved my own problem... I used Super GRUB to fix the mbr, and now all is good. Thanks again :jawa:
