hello friends
i m using slackware 10
today i change my monitor
after when i run command startx on command prompt
after this i got problem from my monitor that

out of Freqency...
from which command i can set monitor resolution and freqency//?????????

Please don't mark threads as urgent as your threads aren't any more urgent than anyone else's. You are told to use descriptive thread titles (i.e. descriptive of the problem you're having) when you post a thread.

You need to edit the xorg.conf file, which can be found in /etc/X11.

To complement Nylex's suggestion the xorg.conf has "HorizSync" and "VertRefresh" statements.

Just match the frequencies of the new monitor and your problem is over.
