You first need to read the LQ Rules, and the "Question Guidelines", and the "How to ask a smart question" links in my posting signature. This is a volunteer forum...asking for/expecting '**URGENT** help is fairly rude. The subject of your question tells NO ONE, ANYTHING about it, making it less likely that anyone will open it (and make a LOT of people just ignore it), and without actually posting any details, what do you think anyone will be able to tell you??

You say "the nam file isn't working out"...but don't bother posting the code you wrote, the error(s)/message(s) you're getting, version/distro of Linux, version of NS2, what protocol you're working with, or anything. Since you've designed and written this, it should also be easy for you, the author, to debug it.

@Aalia : Welcome to LQ.

Not all protocols are supporting NAM.
Examples : Leach, sat (satellite).

Besides that, if your "tcl file" has some errors, the nam activity can be missing.
... Please attach your file as Aalia.tcl.txt

Attachments : That's the `paper clip tool' in the 'Advanced Editor'.
